As many of you may know, the Oscar nominations were revealed today. The Help was nominated for best picture, Viola Davis for Best Actress, and Jessica Chastain and Octavia spencer for Best Supporting Actress. Here's hoping that means we'll see Chris on the red carpet for the event.

Two articles were posted talking about how Chris and some of the cast reacted to the nominations.

Also, Octavia Spencer spent the night at the Four Seasons having a bit of a slumber party with some of her cohorts from The Help. Director Tate Taylor, producer Brunson Green, and actors Alison Janney, Ahna O’Reilly and Chris Lowell went out, had too much wine, and some ended up crashing in several rooms.

Most of the pictures on the blog are different from those on the site. But all of them are fantastic photographs.

The Help has been nominated for 8 NAACP Awards. Viola Davis and Emma Stone are both nominated for Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture. Bryce Dallas Howard, Octavia Spencer, and Cicely Tyson are all nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress. Also, the movie is nominated for Outstanding Motion Picture.

The awards are on February 17. I doubt Chris will be attending, as he wasn't at the Golden Globes, but you never know.

Chris attended the Warner Brothers/InStyle Golden Globe party last night. It doesn't look like he attended the actual awards, I haven't been able to find any pictures of him on the red carpet or at the event.

Though the movie does not currently have a release date, here are a few links and info. regarding the film.

And an Official Website There's nothing up on the website now, however I'm sure it will be updated more information about the film is released and a release date is announced.

Chris recently attended the Hilarity for Charity even hosted by Seth Rogen to help raise money for the Alzheimer's Association.

Loving all of the new photos. Hopefully with award season approaching we'll be seeing a lot more pictures and/or videos.

She also has pictures from the Critics Choice Movie Awards last night. The Help won awards for Best Supporting Actress, Best Actress and Best Ensemble.
